It is one of the most recently built temples in Delhi. It is very beautiful Hindu architect of this modern era. Akshardham Temple is constructed by the Bochasanvasi Aksharpurushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS). Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple or Akshardham Temple is devoted to the Lord Swaminarayan. The meaning of Akshardham is the adobe of the supreme lord .It is scattered over an area of 100 acres and took around 2 years to complete. The meaning of Harmandir Sahib is “The House of God”.The central building of Gurudwara made by the gold that’s why it is named as Golden Temple. This shrine consists of Darbar Sahib, which is the main temple and it is surrounded by the Amrit Sarovar (holy water tank).It was constructed under the Fifth Sikh Guru Arjan Dev ji. It is one of the most divine places of offering prayers.
